Dana Stangel will speak about intellectual property at Fort Collins Startup Week on Wednesday, February 3 at 10:30am. Her event, which is entitled "Industry of Ideas - Understanding the Value of IP", will be a Q&A panel chat with intellectual property attorneys. Topics covered will include an overview of intellectual property, how to protect it, who owns it, and how to license it. Attendees are invited to bring questions for the panelists.
Startup Week will take place February 1-5 and will be headquartered at Galvanize Fort Collins, 242 Linden St., Fort Collins, Colorado. The week of workshops, presentations and events focuses on connecting, celebrating and cultivating entrepreneurs and startups in the community. The startup community in Fort Collins is robust and growing. It is expected that between 3,000 and 5,000 people will attend the event.
